Victoria came to our studio because she wanted a transparent cinerary urn for her deceased husband Manuel as she did not want him to be contained in a space without light. While talking to Victoria and her daughter Cristina we learnt about Manuel’s passiones and his cheerful and sunny nature. We decided for a shape without corners: a shape between a water drop and a rounded dome. We added to the cinerary urn a complementary black ceramic plate which evokes a child’s drawing of boat’s silhouette. On this plate is possible to place flowers or other small objects for the defunct.
