For the exhibition “The Forest of Intelligence”, the company Empty asked us for two types of glass pieces: hollow and solid. For the hollow containers with different shapes, we use the cane-blown glass technique in wooden molds. For the solid pieces, although also worked on the cane, we sculpt the material until we achieve the desired shapes and create an optical effect of a magnifying lens.
An External Reference project in collaboration with Onionlab for the exhibition journey of the Spanish Pavilion for the Expo Dubai 2020, organized and coordinated by Acción Cultural Española (AC/E).
